Conference registration

Registration details:​
  • There are two modes available to attend the conference: virtual and in-person
  • All attendees are required to register
  • Early bird registration is available until 30 September 2022
  • General Registration will close 19 November 2022

 ***Please note***If you are registering for virtual attendance and reside outside of Australia, please use the tickets marked as Virtual International (this is so you are not charged tax). All domestic attendees registering for virtual attendance please use the tickets marked as Virtual Australia.

Registration fee (excluding tax):
  • Early birds registration fee $790 AUD (~$550 USD, €520)
  • General registration fee $990 AUD (~$690 USD, €650)

Virtual registration fee (excluding tax)
  • Early birds virtual registration fee $395 AUD (~265 USD, €266)
  • General virtual registration fee $495 AUD (~334 USD, €339)

Refunds and cancellation
Please contact info@ozgrav.org if you require a refund, either because you are cancelling your attendance or because you wish to transfer from in-person to virtual attendance.
​Eventbrite will keep a fee $40.49 AUD of your total refund.
Requests for refunds will need to be received by 19 November 2022. No refunds will be provided after that date, that includes partial refunds from ticket transfers (from in-person to virtural and vice-versa).

Abstract Submission 

Abstract submissions are now CLOSED. ​​
  • If your abstract is successful you will be notified by an Organising Committee member by 31 October 2022.

Abstract Categories

Your talk should relate directly to the conference themes. You will be asked to choose one of the following categories that is most relevant for your talk in order to aid abstract sorting:
  • GW detectors (current and future) and pipelines
  • ​EM follow-up tools (telescopes, pipelines, coordination systems)
  • GW search results (including studies of source populations)
  • GRBs and afterglows
  • Kilonovae and other EM transients
  • GW sources: astrophysical modelling
  • Fundamental physics (waveforms, tests of GR, probes of EOS, cosmology)
